At
3,143 metres, Mt. Fansipan
is Vietnam and Indochina’s highest mountain. Although only 9 km
from Sapa town, it takes at least three days to get to the peak and back.
Choosing the longest, hardest route involve coping with some steep
slops and cliffs, and possibly seeing snakes and wild insects. Two nights camping on this adventure
require endurance and plenty of energy. No technical climbing
skills are needed.
